Chapleau High School 90th anniversary committee needs help to get the word out to former students of CHS that they should go to the Reunion website www.chs90threunionfestival.com to express interest in the reunion by "preregistering".
This is the means by which the committee hopes to accumulate accurate contemporary addresses for out-of-town former students.
George Evans, a committee member and former assistant principal and History teacher explained that "(The list made in 1997 for the reunion for the 75th anniversary is not exactly up-to-date.) Thus, when the organizing committee in the coming fall mails out invitations and a programs, these invitations will reach their intended targets. The invitees will then have the information they need to decide to accept or to decline the invitation. And then, as the replies come back, the organizing committee will gain a clear idea of how many former CHS students will be gathering in Chapleau on the July 1 weekend, 2012.
